Joshua Burnell
Joshua Burnell's album "Into the Green" is remarkable. The first half of the album is rather good guitar-and-fiddle folk rock, then in the second half you get a seven-song concept suite that melds folk with hints of Genesis into an epic storytelling masterpiece. Here's part of it:

It's slightly possible that Angela Gordon plays flute on half the album... oh, ok, she does, but that's not why I bought it ... OK OK YES THAT'S ENTIRELY WHY I BOUGHT IT STOP LOOKING AT ME LIKE THAT!!!!
But if I hadn't bought it I would have missed out on something exceptional, so I'm really rather glad
