RIP Piotr Grudzinski
This is a bit of a shock. We've got used to The Grim Reaper taking people in their 60s and 70s who'd had a long innings. Piotr Grudzinski of Riverside was just 40.
Riverside are one of the best bands to emerge in the past decade or so, and this one still hasn't sunk in. I think he's the first person I've photographed from the pit (this pic's from 02 Academy Islington in 2014) to have died.
Devastating news.
